Inserted in the urban renewal context, this project in a 5-storey building in Lisbon’s “Bairro das Colónias”, whose construction dates back to the 40´s, consisted of interior refurbishment, including new placement of water and gas supplies and renewal of the buildings roof.

In addition to the refurbishment of the building itself, Space Creation was also responsible for complete refurbishment of the top floor apartment. This project aimed to reuse existing areas, creating a more modern, pleasant and functional space, whilst keeping where possible the original architectural features. The project focus was also on improving thermal and acoustic insulation; carried out by installing more efficient windows and low NoX high performance boilers, thereby contributing to an improvement in the energy efficiency of the building.
